Amazing in its simplicity. They do their thugs right: chicken and potatoes. The chimichanga was an unexpected standout for me as well as the green sauce on the table. I’ve been recommending this place since I’ve been and hoping to make it back soon.
Met a friend here for lunch, she works at the base. The service was amazing, the owner was kind. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommeded Pollito Con Papas if u are in the SE side of Albuquerque! A must try!!!

I’ve been going here for about a year now and I’m obsessed! The owner and staff are wonderful and the food is delicious. I like having a fresh food option near base. Yucca fries and the chicken are my favorite.
Folks in Albuquerque keep saying that all long term visitors aware of this restaurant. By my only one time visit, I got the point. Yuca fries, chickens, and chicha morada, so much good memories of this place.
This place gets busy around lunch time, so I would show up a little earlier or later. The food is good with the right amount of spiciness and seasoning. Oh, and the wait times are super short. Less than 5 minutes after ordering. The menu is simple and no-frills. Would recommend for lunch.
I ordered the chicken and cilantro rice combo and it was absolutely delicious! The staff could tell I was in a rush and on my lunch break so the food came out very quickly and was top notch. Chicken is soft, fresh, and seasoned deliciously. I love the sauce it comes with and the rice was also very tasty. The fried yucca root and corn drink is also to die for and I highly recommend it! Will absolutely be back to try more stuff on the menu.
